Whether you’re an experienced fungal forager, or completely new to the fantastical world of mycelium, join us on our annual fungi survey at Dolydd Gobaith. Help us track down some wonderful waxcaps, beautiful boletes and other mushroomy delights. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about what’s going on under your feet and help contribute to our conservation work.

FAQs

Do I need to know anything about fungi?

Any knowledge you have will be incredibly useful, but it’s not necessary. There will be people of all abilities, so it’s a great chance to learn more about fungi from the people around you or to teach others. Enthusiasm is more important!

What do I need to bring?

Suitable clothing (dress appropriately for the weather). Good footwear (the hillside is steep and muddy in places)
