How you can help
Dolydd Gobaith

If you like what we're doing, then there several different ways that you can help the project

Volunteer

We hold one or two volunteer afternoons each month. During the winter most of the work is tree planting and in the warmer months it is varied – from putting up hooks in the shed to mulching and watering trees, from installing nest boxes to undertaking bumblebee or wildflower surveys.

All ages are welcome, no previous experience or skill is needed, and we provide all the required training and tools. We are a friendly bunch and always pleased to see new faces. The work sessions are always followed by tea and cake around the campfire.

We also offer educational visits for schools and colleges, and well-being/work days for other groups. We hold land-based skills workshops throughout the year.

Please get in touch for more information.

Donate

Donations help with everything from paying for maintenance of fences and infrastructure, to subsidising workshops to make them affordable, from putting on events, to carrying out monitoring and surveys. While the project aims to be financially self-sufficient in the long-term, we have some way to go yet, and every donation helps us do more to help the local community, human, animal, plant and fungi!

Enjoy!

Not everyone is able to get stuck in or help out financially, but what matters most to us is that we benefit the wider community. So the simplest way that you can help out is simply to come visit, walk around and enjoy! And if you really love it, then share the message far and wide.
