Volunteer day at Dolydd Gobaith
There will be many volunteering opportunities over the coming winter to help establish new hedge ones and to thicken the established ones. The aim is to create wildlife corridors, much more shelter and habitat for wildlife, whilst also keeping the main fields available for sensitively managed grazing by a mixed herd of cows and sheep.
It was cold out in the wind but you soon warm up after you have planted a few trees and the whole experience is immensely satisfying. Good exercise, wonderful company and those fantastic views, what is there not to like!
