Location

Dolydd Gobaith is situated in Penygarnedd, Montgomeryshire, near Llanfyllin and not far from Welshpool and Oswestry.

Directions

From Llanfyllin: Head west on the A490 which becomes the B4391 just west of Llanfyllin. Follow this up a long hill (about two miles), near the top of which is a junction with the B4580. Stay on the main road for 1 mile and turn left on a small lane by a cluster of evergreen trees. (If you start going down a long hill on the main road you have missed the turn.) The site is about 0.9 miles along the lane on the right, opposite Hafotty Ganol cottage.

From Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant and the B4396: Follow the B4396 west to the T-junction with the B4391. Turn left towards Llanfyllin. You will shortly enter the village of Penygarnedd. The main road bends sharply to the right and then the left. At the left bend is an old chapel on the right and a lane going up the hill in front of you. Head up this lane for about ¾ mile and take the first left. The site is ¾ mile along this lane on the left, opposite Hafotty Ganol cottage.

From Bala: Head east on the B4391 and cross over the Berwyn mountains (it is a beautiful drive). On the east side of the mountains you will go through Llangynog and Penybontfawr. Shortly after Penybontfawr you will enter Penygarnedd. Then follow the instructions immediately above.
