Words and pictures

These are early days for this project and we are working on signs, leaflets, communication as well as this website to help us tell our story and invite you to take part.

We hope over time to build strong and lasting relationships with the local surrounding as well as the broader community. There will be regular and seasonal events here as the prject develops and we hope to create many different ways for people to become involved here, in the long term.

Making your personal climate pledge

I think we all know the world needs to move rapidly to a different economic system to avoid catastrophic climate change but meanwhile there are many things we can all do that can make us feel personally involved and this individual work is also essential. Join with is for regular events to plant trees, propagate other plants as well and find ways to become involved personally as this wonderful landscape regenerates.

As this new and pioneering project unfolds we will be creating many ways for people from all walks of life to become involved. Whether you are are local to the valley, or have not yet visited Wales even, then CROESO, you are welcome!

First draft of the visitors welcome sign, with a choice of three different paths

We are working with local artists and a company specializing in interpretative signage to produce, clear and informative information for visitors to the site. These are our initial thought and the main blocks of information we plan to include are itemized above, what keys things have we missed, what else might we include?

3 Different Walks

We are planning three different walks around the site, the shortest and least steep of the three Walk 1 takes in the main sites and also the shortest and most direct distance whilst avoiding the steepest of climbs back to the top.

Walk two is slightly longer and brings you back to the top by the steepest section, which also brings up through the area will be allowing to naturally regenerate. We will allow nature to do her thing in this section and it will be a walk of discovery every time to observe the landscape slowly change.

Walk three we are calling the wetland walk and team Dolydd Gobaith have been working hard to trap more water on site to create more diversity of habitat., more interest for wildlife and visitors, again we welcome you to observe this landscape to see it evolve and grow over time
